Garnier Position in the Sun Care Market

How will the Garnier Brand be a success in the Sun Care Market?

 

Opportunity: In this campaign we performed ethnographies, focus groups, surveys and personal interviews to judge consumers perception of Garnier as a hair care brand. We also discovered consumer attitudes about the possibility of Garnier entering the sun care market.

 

Research Findings: Findings from research showed that Garnier is a recognizable brand due to its packaging strength (green packaging). We also found that consumers had a disconnect in trusting Garnier as a sun care provider.

 

Sun care market research findings also showed opportunities for Garnier to position themselves as the medical knowledge leader in sun care. Our team decided that Garnier needed a new brand that could take the medical thought leader position in the mind of the consumer.
